Light sat there on Ryuzaki’s bed. He peered down at the sleeping boy before him and sighed. He rested his hand on his lover’s ebony hair as he slept, stroking it gently. Though Ryuzaki did not know it, Light had regained his memory as Kira. Whether his partner knew it or not was not his concern, the fact was that Ryuzaki was L, and L was Kira’s enemy. Therefore he should kill Ryuzaki. However, even though Light’s original goal was to use Ryuzaki, he eventually fell in love with him.
Ryuzaki sighed inwardly. It was his first time. He was certain; completely certain, that Light was “Kira”. Yet, somehow, he was unable to find much more proof that he was, other than the terrible sinking feeling within his heart. He had said that he wanted a confession, or at least a suspect that he could be sure of. Now, the last thing that he wanted to hear was Light, admitting that he was “Kira”.
Ryuzaki didn’t want Light to leave; however, his inner detective told him that it was for justice. Was justice really worth giving up his lover? There was no turning back. He had said that he would capture “Kira”. He needed proof though, without proof they couldn’t convict Light. He didn’t want to find proof though. His only friend, and loved one, would die then. It was all that he could say.
All he needed was the slightest proof that Light was “Kira” and the case would be solved. If Light was condemned as “Kira” by himself, nonetheless, then that would mean that Light would die. He had trouble surviving without Light for a few days after that chains had been removed, how would he live without Light for the rest of his life?
Ideally he would have never met Light, still be the same L that he saw in the mirror only a month ago and have nothing to worry about. But he wasn’t. He had changed inside. He was no longer the carefree detective he had been. He was in love. That was all. It was just love; somehow it had entangled his whole being. His feelings had gotten the better of him.
Light regretted everything; becoming “Kira” falling in love with L. He leaned forward, towards L and whispered a soft 'I love you' before gently kissing him on the cheek. He blushed after realizing what he had just done and jerked his head up. His eyes were wide with shock. Ryuzaki admitted his feelings to him but he had just brushed them off, at least that was what he thought. He found himself falling for the insomniac before him.
Ryuzaki stirred a bit but did not open his eyes. Light sat there and looked at his co-worker. He was supposed to be his father’s boss? He wondered to himself as he dipped his head towards the pale boy’s face.
Ryuzaki’s eyes shot open. Light’s eyes widened as he realized Ryuzaki had been awake the whole time. A soft blush covered his face.
“Light-kun...” a soft voice whispered; it was Ryuzaki’s.
“Y-Yes?” he stuttered in reply.
“Why did you kiss me?” Ryuzaki asked; his eyes unfazed.
“How long were you awake?” Light questioned, obviously embarrassed.
“Ever since you woke me up at 4:30, I’ve been awake.” He stated.
‘4:30...?! Then he must have heard everything I said?!’ Light thought to himself. His face was turning redder by the second.
“I love you too.” Ryuzaki said, though it sounded more like a laugh. He smiled at Light. He knew that “Kira” was standing right in front of him. He laughed at the irony of it all as they kissed. He had chosen to take the poison, there was no turning back for him.

The Love of Flowers- LxLight
The first flower was a gardenia.
L had stared and poked at it for 20 minutes before it got on Lights nerves. Why do you keep poking it?
L glanced at him before turning back to the flower. You are aware of what a gardenia represents?
Secret love, but what does that have to do-he stopped at the look L gave him. You dont honestly think someone has a crush on you do you?
Thats what this flower seems to say
No one would ever have a crush on someone with hair like yours and bags under their eyes, looking as if they hadnt slept for years
L shrugged.

Light x L - Mis. Chapter 2
Light walked around the room he and L shared. The detective had insisted that they still stay in the same room, though the chain was removed from them the week before. He was still confused by this. As he stared into the mirror, he wondered what Ls true motives behind that were. He began to check himself to make sure he looked alright.
L
what are you doing these things for? He examined his brown eyes for a moment. I mean, its true that you think that I am Kira, but to still sleep in the same place even after the chain was taken off? Still... He sighed. Its true that I spend a lot of time

Forbidden Love - L x Light
Just one kiss on my lips was all it took to seal the future.
From that moment, I understood it was everything alright. There, under the tiny rain, the city was grey, your eyes were greener than ever, my skin was paler than ever. You touched my face, I touched your hand. You reached my lips, I raised my head.
Just one look from your eyes was like a certain kind of torture.
Some days later, I tried to look at you as everything didn't happen at all. As I found out, you could fake it so bad. I could not. Your father and the others asked me what was happening to me and what was that distraction of mine. I said nothing. So nothing as your eyes w

It was a poison that he had chosen to take
He had taken the poison willingly
Now he was ensnared in his own trap,
But not without his prey
Torn between love and justice
Love is truly a thorny path
If we wish to drink this poison called Love
We must prepare for the consequences
He no longer held his head high
He became lowly and miserable
The consequences of the poison always take affect
They always strike when you least expect
In the end your spirit will disappear into the dark void we call Love
There is no happily ever after
Poison is poison
No matter how it is taken.

This is sad and sweet, but I absolutely love it. I seem to be reading a lot of sad fanfictions lately...
